When I was little we had metal ones too–they looked like the outline of those plastic ones, sort of. VERY heavy, two different sizes for really little kids & bigger kids or adults.

I remember when I was little they used to be the awful metal ones that looked like handle bars on a stand… But that was a very long time ago! :)
