Water? Yuck! ~180 days old

As I’ve said before, Gracen is absolutely fascinated with water. Well, at her 6 month check-up, her pediatrician said we could start giving her a little bit of water now and then, so we tried it tonight. She was super excited about getting a sippy cup of water, and quickly lifted it to her mouth.

BOINK! ~180 days old

Oh dear… Today we experienced Grae’s first accidental owie. She was practicing sitting up as I held one of her hands for balance, but the quick little wriggly worm snatched her hand away and began to fall backwards. I grabbed the front of her dress to ease the fall, but her head still landed on the carpet with a little boink. Needless to say, Mama felt awful.

Egaila Park ~178 days old

We heard that there was a new park nearby, so we decided to check it out today. Sure there’s weird workout equipment scattered amidst the play apparatuses, the lawn is littered with tents and hibachis, and you have to beware of the unmarked holes and protruding rebar, but you can’t be picky in Kuwait… A park is a park!

25 Weeks Old ~175 days old

Our little Gracen Belle is officially 25 weeks old today. Her new “tricks” include tucking her little fist along her side and flapping her arm like a chicken wing, as well as chucking her pacifier out of her crib and onto the tile floor to notify us that she is finished sleeping.
