Things sure have changed since the days of our swaddled little baby sleeping soundly while perfectly centred in her basinet. Now when Gracen wakes up, we sometimes find her like this…

‘Welcome to my lair. Please. Come. Take a seat.’

Finally almost fully recovered from her third cold in 6 months…

With brown rice cereal, avocado, and rice rusks under her belt, Grae anxiously awaits today’s new menu item. :)

Have I mentioned that absolutely EVERYTHING goes into this little lady’s mouth? Yes, even the tie from her silly little sunhat. :)

So far, Gracen doesn’t seem to be in love with brown rice cereal. We’ll definitely keep trying, but we’ve offered it to her smooth, chunky, with cinnamon, and plain, and it seems to render the same results each time – a look of disgust, accompanied by some gagging and eventual swallowing or spitting out. In the meantime, we decided to try out her second ever food – avocado!

‘I’ve got my knees under me. My arms are halfway up. Now what???’

The weather has been incredibly nice this week after last week’s dust-filled days. So despite the fact that she had just had her vaccinations and has a bit of a cold, we decided to get outdoors and soak up some vitamin D!

Doubtful.

Vaccination day. Ech. I think I hate it more than Gracen does. The good news is that these were her last vaccinations ever to take place in Kuwait! Plus, we’re in the clear until she’s one year old. Yay for that. :)
