Colouring Page Airplane Scavenger Hunt

It’s hard to believe, but in exactly 23 days, we’ll board a plane and begin the long journey back to Canada.  This means that I really should be focused on purging and sorting  our belongings, but I can’t help it – I’m having fun creating little plane packs and travel activities for Miss G and her friends instead. ☺

This very simple colouring page airplane scavenger hunt was inspired by the printable morning routine chart from And We Play that we use regularly and love.  It’s super simple, but paired with some colours, will hopefully keep little travellers happily engaged and in their seats.

Because we travel regularly and have multiple flights to get home, I laminated Miss G’s airplane scavenger hunt and will pair it with our Crayola dry erase crayons and a few little cotton cosmetic pads for erasing, but you could just as easily use a paper version if it was a one time thing.

Despite my best efforts to get my printing and laminating finished during Miss G’s quiet play time, she surprised me by poking her head out early…  Of course she wanted to see what I was making, so once clean up was done, we pretended we were on a plane and did a practice run of our airplane scavenger hunt {sans plane and sans passengers, but that didn’t stop her from really enjoying herself!}  She did point out, however, that I really should have included the hot cloths you’re given as you’re seated…  Oops – silly me.  Not to worry though – she fixed my mistake and added her own at the bottom.

When we were done playing, she simply wiped off the laminated card using her cotton pad so it would be clean and ready to use in a few weeks.
