Rolling around on the carpet while enjoying the warmth of the sun coming in our front window.

Gracen absolutely loves when we walk outside to see the newspaper on our doorstep. I get the news and she gets the flyers. :)

Teething started fairly early for our little lady, and by the time she was 8 months old, she had all 8 of her front teeth in. We’ve had a nice long break, but now here we are again… Back to teething, but this time with molars! I noticed little heaping mountains on each side of her lower jaw just over a week ago, and already, the one on her left has fully cut through.

Today was Gracen’s lucky day. Not only did she get a beautiful sparkly card in the mail from her Great Gido in Alberta…

Today we got all packed up to go swimming at the YMCA, and long story short, ended up on the playground instead of in the pool.

Gracen loves Bubba. And “pretty-pretty-pretty” (a.k.a. lipgloss). And sharing – especially with Bubba.

Today was a rainy day and Bradley had to work, so Gracen and I decided to head down to Stanley Park to visit the Aquarium.

Gracen’s latest thing is using utensils. She’s getting pretty good at it too. Check out her skills:

She’s a little bit wobbly still, but is she ever proud of herself for walking around the house!

Since Grandma Charlotte leaves tomorrow morning and Bradley had the day off, today was our day to celebrate Thanksgiving. We started our day off with a walk along the riverfront and a stop at the playground.

This afternoon Gracen had her first Costco experience. Grandma Charlotte led us wildly through the aisles in hopes of seeing all the “good stuff” before closing at 6:00 p.m. We rushed around like mad women, cruised through the checkout, and were out the door on time (although no one else seemed to be in a rush) with a box full of healthy goodies. :)

This little corner is one of Grae’s favourite spots to cuddle up with a good book…

Seeing our little lady walking hand in hand down the sidewalk with her Papa seriously makes my heart want to burst.

So today the three of us headed down to Broadway Street for the special occasion.

Gracen took her first steps a long while ago. Since then, she’s slowly crept up from just one or two steps at a time, to 3 or four, and then to 5 or 6, but all the while, she’s preferred crawling as her main means of transportation. Today she changed her mind. Today she chose to walk around the house instead of crawl. Today she was taking 15 to 20 steps at a time without being encouraged to do so. I was so captivated by her new skills, that I didn’t take a single photo or video all day, until just 15 minutes before bedtime. This is what I was able to catch…
