I just turned nineteen and this girl needed a fake id to go out with my older friends to the bars near my college and not sit alone at the dorm. Around campus everyone who is under 21 has a fake identification and told me they bought it online from idgod. I figured with this many great endorsements I would buy from id god too. When my order arrived I was thrilled looking over the card quality. My ID card is impeccable and an identical replica of a real identification card. I can tell my readers idgod fake id is the best you can buy.

Welp, I guess that’s shoe tying taken care of.

Hah!  In all fairness, I’ve not shown her how to properly shoes and she’s not asked.  Because why would you if you had already mastered this awesome {and very open-ended} weaving method?!

Nighttime Protection

9 / 30 / 1410 / 8 / 14

IMG 3866

I walked in the door from tutoring tonight just as Brad was tucking Miss G into bed for the night.  Like she usually does when my arrival interrupts her calm bedtime routine, Grae ran out of her bedroom excited to greet me.  Only tonight, she was wearing this.  No joke.  This is what she had purposefully put on in preparation for bedtime.  And by the look on Brad’s face, we weren’t challenging the issue.  As I tucked her in for the night, I asked if she has been cold at night recently.  Her answer?  ‘No. These things keep my body protected if a witch comes in my covers and tries to bite me while I’m sleeping.’  Ummmm… Alright then?

Playing Hairdresser {and the highlight of my sick day}

9 / 15 / 149 / 27 / 14

IMG 3519

Having felt absolutely awful all day today, I happily passed off my parenting duties when Brad walked in the door this afternoon and crawled into bed for some quiet.  Gracen’s big thing right now is playing hairdresser and I listened intently from the next room while she talked her Papa through several hairstyles just as a master stylist teaching new hairdressing students would.  About 20 minutes or so in, she announced that she would be right back as she needed to retrieve some water, but not to worry – doing so was something she could handle on her own.  Then I heard the pitter patter of little feet make their way to the washroom, retrieve some water, and head back to their eagerly waiting client.  Only, the client wasn’t waiting eagerly at all.  In fact, this client was fast asleep {and had been for the entire duration of his appointment!!}  Needless to say, he was no longer asleep when the cold water started pouring on his head – bahaha!  {Definitely worth the effort of dragging my sorry self out of bed to snap a quick iPhone photo!}

Do You Think That Really Makes Sense?

4 / 24 / 144 / 26 / 14

IMG 9342

Gracen:  Mama, what are you doing with my hair today?

Mama:  Oh, I was just doing a quick French braid.  Is that okay?

Gracen:  But Mama, do you think that really makes sense?  Because we’re not in France and we’re not speaking French.

Vigid Flies

4 / 29 / 135 / 4 / 13

Vigid, more formally known as Vigid Milkman, is Gracen’s beloved butterfly kite she received in her Easter basket last month.  I have no idea where Vigid (pronounced vee-gid) came from, but Milkman is after Melky Cabrera, a Toronto Bluejays player Miss G and her Papa watch together.  Crazy name aside, Grae is absolutely smitten with Vigid Milkman.  She watches out our big front window, and the moment she sees the slightest rustle of the tree leaves across the street, she asks if there is enough wind for Vigid to fly.  Much to her happiness,  today was an oddly windy day (our yard is littered with trash to prove it) and the moment her Papa returned from home from work, he asked if she’d like to fly Vigid.  Did she ever!

Little Singer

IMG 8975IMG 8980This girl can turn almost anything into a microphone.  Recently, our front porch bannister has become one.  Naturally this means at least a song or two sung on the way out of the house, and another on the way back in.

From the Mouth of Grae

4 / 18 / 134 / 21 / 13

Photo copy 2

Grae’s ability to communicate, express herself, and carry on thoughtful conversations is absolutely exploding right now. Not a day goes by where I’m not flabbergasted by the amusing things she comes up with and the connections she’s able to make.  Here are a few quotes from today…

Mama, a mouse has a very, very small skeleton because it’s sooooo tiny, and a giraffe has a really, really GIANT skeleton because he’s soooooo big.  What has a medium skeleton?

 ……………………………….

I love Grandma Sue because her feet are nice.  Her toes are painted and I like them.

  ……………………………….

Fruits have seeds.  Vegetables have no seeds.  Chicken doesn’t have seeds, but it’s NOT a vegetable…  So what it is then?!

  ……………………………….

(After I told her that I love her) I love you fooooorrrrever, Mama.  Because I’m your baby.

Mama: I see you drew some smiley faces on the window.

Gracen: Yes. They’re Mormon.

Mama: Mormon?

Gracen: Yes. Like…like…   Ladies!

Mama: Do you mean ‘women’??

Gracen: YES!!
