I think our little doodlebug might be part fish. She LOVES the water. We got her this little trainer seat, and now she can happily float on her own without having to be constantly attached to Mama or Papa. We of course stay close by, but she enjoys having a little freedom to splash, play, and kid watch from the comfort of her floating seat.

One of my favourite times is just after Baby G has woken up from a nap… She’s normally a little bit groggy, extra lovey, and full of smiles and happy pants. Here, she’s just woken up and she’s still in the groggy/serious stage…

Another beautiful day in Kuwait meant another day spent at the Hilton’s oceanfront pool… Tough life we have, I know! :) As you can tell from the photo, it was a little humid today, but the temperature was perfect and we had a ball. Today was extra special because we were joined by Grae’s little friends, Turner and Jessica, and their mamas. The munchkins were enjoying themselves so much, that we ended up staying in the pool for an hour and 45 minutes!

Okay, so this photo wasn’t taken today, but it was turned into a comic today if that counts! Anyways, Gracen is so excited about her little friend Sloan’s first birthday, that she is shouting her happy birthday message in her new monster voice. Happy birthday from all of us in the desert, Miss Sloan! We miss you. xox

Fuzzy-headed, sticky-faced…

Last week, Gracen’s fourth bottom tooth and all 4 front top teeth decided to come in at the same time. Although our doodlebug was a trooper, it was a bit of a rough week and extra love and cuddles were in order. Things are much better now that they have all pushed their way through. :)

During our day of nothing, Grae was playing in her crib while I was putzing around her room, and she discovered that she could pull herself up from her laying position and gnaw on the crib bars.

We started the day by opening a couple of little gifts… Grae was pretty excited about the pretty wrapping paper she made.

Tomorrow is Bradley’s birthday, and since we plan on spending the day at the Hilton as a family, we had a few friends over for cake and ice cream this afternoon. Of course, Gracen was Papa’s candle blowing assistant. :)

I have no idea what was happening at the time, but at some point this afternoon, I looked over to see Gracen and her Papa sprawled out on their backs in the middle of our dining room floor…
