Yesterday I shared 5 things you may not have known about my pint-sized sidekick.  And while I know that this little blog of mine is centred around my girl, today I’m teaming up with 7 other wonderful mamas from around the Lower Mainland and sharing a little bit about me, a.k.a. ‘Gracen’s Mama’.  Here they are…

    1. I’ll show you next time we meet up, Eschelle! :) The motorcycle thing comes straight from my dad and brother… My dad is a longtime rider and now builds bikes too, and my brother is a natural rider and an ex-racer… I rode on the back of an ex-boyfriend’s bike when I was just out of high school and immediately called my dad and told him that I needed to learn for myself.

    1. Peggy, you so should. It is so freeing and fun. To this day, the sound of a sport bike squealing by makes my stomach jump. I highly recommend taking a course – they taking you from literally not knowing how to start a bike to doing your full-on road course without any deductions! :)

      1. My husband is a biker and I loved riding with him, but I want to have this fun on my own as well. lol. besides… biker ladies are so sexy! haha

  1. Well I have seen the diamond and the bike pictures, so you know you are going to have to post a couple pictures on here now right? lol

  2. Wow. So much more to you than meets the eye, Jen! So neat!
How did that diamond tradition start? SO awesome. I’m trying to think up something funky cool like that to start in my family!

    1. Aw, Nat. You are so sweet. The diamond tradition started years and years ago when I was tiny. At the time, my Aunt was working in a jewellery store and as a dental hygienist. She put the two together, started the tradition, and had many swallowed diamonds in the beginning. The technology must have improved over time though, because neither my mom or I have had ours fall out on us. :)

      1. So creative! I love how it’s such a precious secret you all share, yet as permanent as a tattoo. My wheels are turning :)

  3. Wow, a diamond in your tooth!! That is very unique!! Love the story as told above to Nat…and you ride motorcycles? So…are you going to let Grae do that anytime in this lifetime?
